Staff writer, Theme Park Tourist

November 2017 – Present

Curious about the history behind Gay Days at Walt Disney World? Need upscale dining recommendations for your next adults-only vacation? Ever wondered how many times you can ride Star Tours – The Adventures Continue and experience a brand-new storyline? These are some of the topics I find myself gravitating toward as I research, develop, and write features for Theme Park Tourist every week. Though I love digging deep into theme park history and the multifaceted elements of the Disney Parks, my favorite stories are those that have been long-forgotten… or are yet to be told.

Staff writer, HardballTalk

September 2016 – Present

Staff writer, Baseball Prospectus

March 2016 – March 2018

During my weekly columns in 2016 and 2017, I delved into the statistical significance of various MLB games, both during the regular season and the playoffs. Over the offseason, I worked on a weekly roundup of hot topics from around the league and frequently commented on trade rumors, retirement announcements, front office changes, and career-ending injuries.

I also provided comprehensive player commentary for over 100 players from the 2016 Oakland Athletics and 2017 Detroit Tigers’ rosters and farm systems, which was published in the New York Times’ bestselling Baseball Prospectus 2017 and Baseball Prospectus 2018, respectively.

As of fall 2018, my contributions narrowed in scope as I focused exclusively on completing a chapter of the forthcoming Baseball Prospectus 2019.
